Yes, it’s been a while. This is how it happens, you get enthusiastic about a project and then somewhere along the way that enthusiasm dissipates and you’re left with random specks of inspiration. So it’s with these specks I write this post.
The Wayside Chapel and St Vincent’s Hospital have come on board to support the Deck of Dreams (or could be affectionately known as DOD). I still see DOD as in it’s infancy and at this stage it still requires plenty of time and energy to grow. There will be a “grand opening” for DOD at St Vincent’s Hospital on Wednesday 16th May, 2012. There will be the opportunity to participate in a DOD workshop after the opening.
Once I gather the specks of inspiration to a ball there shall be more happening in DOD world. As for now, I leave you will a painting I created for The Wayside Chapel opening, it’s called Connected World – or – black stick men all stuck together on a round green blob (Oh and it will be on sale, at a price I have yet to determine)
Also I have received another beautiful entry into DOD from Peter D. And also thank you to a special someone who has encouraged me to post something, this is a step in the right direction.
