A fantastic spoken word film about a wide spread technological issue. I could trawl on YouTube for days for the ones that go viral. The time before this one I found “Tiny Hamsters Eating Tiny Burritos – Episode 1“.
So I felt compelled to post it here. It took me back to another time… a time when I was lying on a hammock on one of the Yasawa Islands in Fiji. The weather was beautiful and I was soaking up relaxation. Then I decided to listen to an audiobook, yes I’m up with technology. It was an audiobook about use of punctuation and grammar. Suprisingly, the narrator was quite humourous. As I reminisce I recall her commentary regarding Alanis Morisette’s butchering of the word “Ironic”. I’m not sure I’ve recovered from this as posting this video online made me question whether it is ironic, I think so, is it ironic?

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the video, and I too am guilty of this mind numbing tapping on the “smart” phones. I remember walking through Sydney CBD in the morning on the way to work, I counted less than 5 smiles, and they were from people listening to music or on the phone. It’s a strange place we live, remember to smile!
